Welcome to the World of Video Human Design
Where video is used to make a business
an attractive proposition for the right people
Your results are in. Let's investigate them now.

We'll Begin With Your Bodygraph
This is a blueprint of how energy flows through your body and the space around you. There is a lot of information contained in every human being, almost as if it was meant to be there in the first place.
This report is a humble attempt to distill a mountain of information into a useable and practical guide for all your video efforts.
Along the way, you will recognize your best qualities to leverage as well as some challenges to meet.
Human Design is, in many ways, a de-conditioning process. While there is no way to avoid the conditioning we experience from birth onward, at some point we can come to recognize when we are being influenced by outside entities or even by our own emotions and fantasies.
This kind of encounter is the beginning of wisdom. Of course, it might seem that wisdom is impractical in the world of business.
"Just tell me what works!" "Just tell me what's easy!" These are the battle cries of the unaware, the uninformed and the eternally selfish. And there's nothing advantageous about any of those qualities if what you want is a successful business that changes its little corner of the world.
Human Design can give you the necessary insights and an immensely practical process to put those insights into practice.
The first step is to say hello to your personal Bodygraph.
Let's begin to reveal its mysteries right now...

The Life-Transforming Experiment in Living as Yourself:
Unique, Authentic and Inspiring
The Human Design System is a unique tool that combines various aspects of astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, the Hindu-Brahmin chakra model, and quantum physics, to give you a comprehensive map of your unique genetic makeup. It provides insights into your personality, your inner workings, and how you interact with the world. The system helps guide you in decision making, improve your relationships, and generally enhance your life by helping you understand and accept your true self.
In this report we will cover the main elements of Human Design, then connect those elements to the way in which you offer your gifts to the world via the expression and demonstration of them in video.
Type
Your Type is the first fundamental layer in the Human Design System. It describes your energy dynamics and life purpose. The four types are Manifestors, Generators (including Manifesting Generators), Projectors, and Reflectors. Each type has a unique strategy and way of interacting with the world.
Aura
The aura is an energy field that surrounds your physical body. It is the way we connect to and are experienced by others. The nature of your aura is determined by your Type. It is your aura that brings to you the things you want and need, without stress or strain.
Strategy
Strategy is your roadmap to making correct decisions and actions that are in alignment with your Type. For Manifestors, it's about initiating; for Generators and Manifesting Generators, it's about responding; for Projectors, it's about waiting for the invitation; and for Reflectors, it's about waiting for a lunar cycle to elapse.
Authority
Authority refers to your inner decision-making process. It can be emotional, sacral, splenic, ego manifested, ego projected, self-projected, lunar, or none (for Reflectors). Following your Authority helps you make decisions that are right for you.
Profile
Your Profile provides context about your life purpose and how you're meant to interact with the world. It consists of two numbers that represent the conscious and unconscious sides of your personality, distilled from the 64 line groupings of the iChing. There are 12 profiles in total.
Signature and Not-Self Emotions
Your Signature is the consistent feeling you experience when living your design. Your "Not-Self" emotion is not truly you but is often experienced in response to conditioning from the outside world. By understanding these, you can align more with your Signature and less with the Not-Self, leading to greater satisfaction, success, peace, and surprise in life (depending on your Type).
Incarnation Cross
The Incarnation Cross refers to the specific alignment of the sun and earth at the time of your birth, represented by four Gates. It provides a 50,000 ft. insight into your life purpose and the lessons you're here to learn.
Centers
Centers are analogous to the chakras in the Hindu-Brahmin chakra model. They are energy hubs, each with a unique function and influence over specific aspects of our lives. There are nine Centers in total.
Channels
Within your channels flow the unique energies of your life. Your job here is to express them for the benefit of yourself, your tribe, your community and the world. These energies are unique to you and represent your highest calling for living on this earth. They are meant to be lived out with as little non-self behavior conditioning as possible, as they are very, very powerful and beneficial to every part of your life.
By following your Type, Strategy, and Authority, and understanding your Profile and Incarnation Cross, the Human Design System guides you in making decisions that are more aligned with who you truly are. This alignment can lead to a life that feels more authentic, fulfilling, and less resistant. By embracing your true nature, you can become the person you were always meant to be, enjoying a life of increased flow, ease, and personal satisfaction.
Let's take each of these elements in turn and see how they can help you become more of who you are and then apply that to your work in video.
ENERGY CENTERS - THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR HUMAN DESIGN
HOW YOUR ENERGY FLOWS
Energy Centers are analogous to the chakras in the Hindu-Brahmin chakra model. They are energy hubs, each with a unique function and influence over specific aspects of our lives. There are nine Centers in total. Each is associated with a part of your body.
Each Center can be defined (colored in) or undefined (white). A defined Center is consistent and reliable in its function, creating a fixed and stable trait within you. An undefined Center is flexible and adaptable, receptive to influences, and can take in and amplify energy from others.
Here's a list of the Centers, their associated body parts, their role as a motor (or not), and the meaning of that:
Root Center (Adrenal Glands) - This is a pressure Center and one of the four motors, responsible for our drive, adrenaline, and stress response. When defined, you have a reliable and consistent way of handling pressure and stress. When undefined, you may take in and amplify the stress and pressure from others. Over time, you learn to better understand and handle stress, and can become a calm presence in the face of external pressures.
Sacral Center (Reproductive Organs) - This is one of the four motors, governing life force energy, fertility, and work capacity. When defined, you have consistent access to this energy. When undefined, you might struggle with knowing when to rest. You could also have a deep understanding of what energizes and drains others, acting as an energy barometer.
Solar Plexus Center (Pancreas) - This motor Center is associated with emotions, desires, and moods. When defined, you have a consistent emotional wave. When undefined, you can take in and amplify the emotions of others, which can be overwhelming. Openness here also allows you to sample a wide range of emotional states and moods. You may become deeply empathic and understanding of the emotional experiences of others.
Heart/Will Center (Heart/Thymus) - This motor Center relates to willpower, ego, and value. When defined, you have consistent access to willpower and the ability to make promises. When undefined, you might struggle with self-worth and have a tendency to overpromise. However, you're also not under constant pressure to prove yourself, which can lead to a more peaceful and contented life. You can understand and gauge what truly matters.
Spleen Center (Spleen) - This non-motor Center deals with intuition, instinct, health, and well-being. When defined, you have a reliable intuition. When undefined, you might struggle with health fears and hold onto things that aren't good for you. You can also discover an ability to tune into the health and wellbeing of others, recognizing what is healthy and unhealthy in your environment.
G Center (Liver) - This non-motor Center is about identity, direction, and love. When defined, you have a fixed sense of self and direction. When undefined, you might continually search for purpose and direction and adapt easily to different environments. You can also be chameleon-like, able to adapt easily to different environments and identities. You have the potential for a wide-ranging understanding of people's identities and loves.
Throat Center (Thyroid) - This non-motor Center is about communication and manifestation. When defined, you have a consistent way of communicating and manifesting. When undefined, you might feel pressure to attract attention and to talk or be heard. You can be versatile in your communication styles, able to adapt your language and expressions according to your environment and the people with whom you interact.
Ajna Center (Pituitary) - This non-motor Center is about mind, mental awareness, and thinking. When defined, you have a consistent way of processing thoughts. When undefined, you might try to be certain or mentally consistent. However, you naturally possess a fluid and adaptable way of processing information, understanding others, and making sense of the world. You're not stuck with one fixed way of thinking, which allows you to understand various perspectives.
Head/Crown Center (Pineal) - This non-motor Center is about inspiration, mental pressure, and doubts. When defined, you have a consistent way of dealing with inspiration and mental pressure. When undefined, you might feel overwhelmed by trying to answer all the questions or figure everything out. Openness here can make you incredibly open-minded, able to entertain a wide array of ideas and concepts. This flexibility can lead to creative and innovative thinking.
Each of these Centers has a critical role in how we perceive and navigate the world. Recognizing whether they are defined or undefined in your chart can provide a deeper understanding of yourself and your interactions with others.
With that overview under our belts, let's look at the first and most important characteristic of your primary Energy Center, your Type.
YOUR TYPE:
You Are a Manifesting Generator
EXECUTIVE BRIEF
You are the builder, the doer, the creator, and you are here to do and build what you love and love what you do and build, moving fast and sometimes skipping steps, so you find efficient shortcuts to bring to others. Manifesting Generators make up about 33% of the population.
-----------------------
WHAT IS A MANIFESTING GENERATOR?
A Generator, including a Manifesting Generator, is an individual with abundant inner energy and the ability to sustain hard work over long periods. They are often seen as the "builders" in any situation due to their natural resilience and persistence. From a video marketer's perspective, this has several implications.
However, pure Generators must wait to respond to an outside stimulus before initiating a project.
A Manifesting Generator is a type of Generator with the power to initiate projects once the Sacral response has kicked in.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MANIFESTING GENERATOR
A Generator is someone in whom the Sacral Center is defined. If that person also has a connection between any of the motors to the Throat Center, they are a Manifesting Generator, since the Throat is our center of manifesting and expression.
So how does this relate to video?
As a Generator, you excel in the more labor-intensive aspects of video. You will be efficient at handling the long process of planning, filming, editing, and promoting a video campaign. Your sustainable energy allows you to persevere through demanding tasks that require high levels of patience and effort.
You respond well to things you feel a natural resonance with, so you might already have an instinctive understanding of what kind of content would resonate with an audience. You might excel in conducting market research or A/B testing due to your knack for identifying what feels "right" or "wrong."
Your enduring energy could be highly beneficial in the face of a challenging campaign or when working under tight deadlines. You're likely to remain focused and committed until the task is completed to the best of your ability.
One potential challenge for you as a Generator doing video is that you do need to learn when to stop and rest. You might push yourself all the way to burnout if you don't listen to the inner cues telling you you've done enough for the day.
Communication is also key for you as a Generator. As you wait for something external to respond to, it's important that you're kept in the loop and given the opportunity to voice your ideas and perspectives.
Above all, it's important to keep in mind why Generators, who make up 70% of the population, exist at all. Why are Generators here? They are here to understand themselves. When Aristotle said "know thyself" it appears he was speaking to Generators.
THE MAGIC OF GENERATORS
Human Design itself has one major feature you would be amply encouraged to experiment with. Your mind is meant to be a passenger on your many trips around the sun. It's here to enjoy the ride, process ideas and act as the authority for others in certain ways, but never to be your Inner Authority.
What does this mean? It means that your Inner Authority, expressed by the defined centers in your body, are where real decision-making now takes place if what you want is a peaceful, productive and prosperous life. The mind observes, processes and expresses your decisions through other centers, which then become the Outer Authority for others.
The Generator's strategy of waiting to respond is exactly what attracts the things and people into your life that you really want. In other words, there is no longer any need to chase after your desires. Simply by living your Type and Strategy, your desires are drawn to you. You even possess an open and enveloping aura, which extends into the camera and out into the world, where it is felt by your audience.
The right ones are drawn to you, and this attraction comes through easily on video, as it is simply an expression of energy, which seems to have no practical limits on its range.
It is your enduring energy, innate ability to resonate with what works, and commitment to the task at hand which make you incredibly effective at making videos that can rock someone's world.
YOUR INNER AUTHORITY:
THE SOLAR PLEXUS - EMOTIONAL
EXECUTIVE BRIEF
The Solar Plexus is the center of emotions and desires, where emotional wisdom and clarity take their time to emerge. Those with this Authority are intended to wait through their emotional wave - a cycle of highs, lows, and neutrals - before they arrive at a decision.
To ensure that you make the correct decisions for you, you need to go through your emotional wave and reach clarity before deciding rather than making decisions from the highs and lows of your emotional wave, that is, from euphoria, nerves or sadness.
-----------------------
The Strategy of Emotional Authority
The strategy of Emotional Authority is to wait for the Sacral Response, then ride out the emotional wave over a period of time until a measure of emotional clarity is felt. At that point, one can initiate a project, test their Sacral response to insure that it's still a "go", then dive in with a kind of joyous and sustained energy of which all the other Types would find impossible to sustain.
This encourages individuals to honor their feelings and to use the wisdom gathered from their emotional journey to inform their decisions. It is a slow, evolving process that requires patience and introspection.
It is said that for those with Emotional Authority, there is no present moment. What that really means is that clarity, at least for you, is something that only emerges over time. How long a time depends on the importance of the decision being made. It could be a few minutes, or it could be months.
Key to the process, though, is understanding the emotional wave. It's really a roller coaster ride, though each part of the wave can feel like a permanent feature of your emotional landscape when it's happening to you. Like "Oh, I'm a failure. I've always been a failure and I'll always be a failure!" Needless to say, this is something that would ONLY be said on the downside of your emotional wave.
On the other hand, thinking something like "I'm a frikkin genius! I'm gonna be a millionaire next month!" is something that would only be imagined on the top side of your emotional wave.
Taking any action while at either end of that wave could be disastrous. The trick is to wait until the wave itself has subsided. There you find some calm, some depth and some assurance that this decision is going to be good for you.
Of course, it's still emotion, which means you'll never be 100% sure about anything. However, 98% is pretty good in anyone's book.
This can work to your advantage. If someone asks for your help and you aren't yet clear on your answer, asking someone to wait while you come to clarity can often make them want you even more.
Now, let's look at a few ways your Emotional Authority can enrich your video work.
Emotionally Charged Decision Making
Your emotional wave will guide your choices in the video production process, from pre-production planning to post-production editing. Waiting for clarity to surface through your emotional wave can bring profound insight into the direction of your videos.
Inspiring Empathy and Connection
As a producer, you can use your emotional wisdom to create videos that resonate with viewers on a deep emotional level. Your personal emotional journey can help you cultivate empathy and connection, turning your marketing videos into powerful communication tools.
Emotional Timing
Timing is crucial in video production. Your Solar Plexus Authority can guide you on when it's the right time to start a project, shoot a scene, or release a video to the public. This emotional timing can bring a unique rhythm and flow to your work.
Transforming Challenges
Obstacles and setbacks can be emotionally taxing. But with your Solar Plexus Authority, you can transform these challenges into opportunities for growth and learning. Waiting for your emotional wave to clear can reveal creative solutions and new perspectives. The biggest challenge will always be a temptation to take action too soon, causing ruffled feathers, emotional chaos or stunted growth in your business. The way through all this is to practice your strategy of waiting out your emotional wave.
Navigating your Solar Plexus Authority requires patience, emotional honesty, and a willingness to embrace the journey. But the rewards are immense.
You have the ability to bring depth, empathy, and a unique sense of timing to your work, creating marketing videos that truly resonate. Harness this emotional intelligence, and let it guide you to remarkable creative heights.
YOUR PROFILE:
5/1 - The Heretic Investigator
EXECUTIVE BRIEF
The essence of your power lies in your remarkable ability to explore the depths of complexity and return with pearls of understanding to share with the world. You're the "Universal Translator", the bridge between the complex and the simple. The world needs your unique gift of translation.
-----------------------
Where Your Profile Comes From
The 5/1 Profile describes the personality's behavior pattern and a life theme for an individual. Each person has a unique profile made up of two numbers, both distilled from the I Ching, a system that uses a pattern of 6 lines stacked from line 1 on the bottom to line 6 on the top. The first number represents your conscious side (Personality) or how you see yourself, and the second number represents your unconscious side (Design) or how others see you.
The number 5 in your profile signifies the universalizing message, the projection of others onto you to rescue them, and The General, or the 'stranger of consequence', who can come through when no one else can.
The number 1 represents the investigator; one who studies others to see how things actually work in the world. The chameleon emerges in this form when you're feeling insecure. You can easily let others see what they want to see in you. And finally, it indicates empathy in its ability to take in so much information from others.
Together, these two lines form the 5/1 Profile, known as the Heretic/Investigator. This is an intriguing blend, one that combines depth, complexity, simplification, and a little dash of the unexpected.
Characteristics of the 5/1 Profile
Your investigator side loves to dive into the deep end. You have this insatiable thirst for knowledge, to unearth and decode the mysteries of life. You’re not one to shy away from complexity. In fact, you embrace it, you welcome it with open arms.
The more profound the knowledge, the more intricate the details, the more you're in your element. You explore. You discover. You unearth treasures of knowledge that others might overlook. This is your Heretic side. You're the investigator and the trailblazer, diving deep where others might fear to tread.
Once you've gathered enough complex detail, your talent truly shines. You become the Heretic, the universal translator. You take the complex and weave it into the accessible. You distill the baffling into the comprehensible. You translate the intricate into simple clarity. You’re the bridge, the translator, the one who opens doors to understanding for those who might otherwise stand outside.
Your remarkable gift is your power to synthesize, to translate complexity into simplicity. It’s a unique skill, one that sets you apart. It's a light that you carry, a beacon that draws others to you. They see you as their guide, their problem solver, their hero. They look to you for answers, for guidance, for understanding.
Challenges of the Profile
With great power comes great responsibility. You are most often called upon to fix a situation where no one else has been able to succeed. This gives you an enormous amount of authority in the situation, much like a general being called to lead. But keep in mind that the situation is temporary for you among this group of people. The time will come when you need to move on. And if for some reason you can't deliver results, you may be asked to leave the group earlier than you had expected.
But remember, you’re not defined by the perception of others. Your worth isn't tied to their expectations.
This means you must be clear on your objectives and your area of expertise. Also, be careful not to allow the sometimes overwhelming expectations of others to coerce you into accepting work you are either not expert in or to which you don't have any response.
Inherent in your Profile is the need to retreat once in a while, so allow yourself that time to rest and re-inspire yourself.
Considerations for Content Creation
Your unique blend of universalizing and investigating energies sets a captivating stage for video content creation. Not only do you have the innate ability to relate and provide practical solutions, but you also investigate thoroughly to ensure your knowledge is deep and solid. This mix of traits can be highly beneficial in creating content that resonates with a broad audience.
Here are some of the strengths you bring to the table.
Universal Appeal
With your 5th-line energy, you can create video content that appeals to a broad spectrum of people, with messages that transcend individual differences.
Investigative Depth
Your 1st-line energy drives you to understand things deeply, so your videos are likely to be thorough, well-researched, and insightful.
Practical Wisdom
As a 5/1, you can provide practical, useful solutions, which is a huge asset in business-related videos.
Trust Builder
The combination of your 5th-line relatability and 1st-line thoroughness helps build a strong sense of trust with your audience.
Now, let's talk about some of the potential challenges:
Expectation Pressure
As a 5th-line being, you may find that people have high expectations of you. You could feel pressure to live up to these, which could lead to stress or burnout. It's crucial to remember to do what feels authentic to you and not get caught up in meeting everyone else's expectations.
Projection Field
Similarly, people might project their own interpretations or desires onto your message, which could lead to misunderstandings or miscommunication. Make sure to communicate as clearly as possible to mitigate this.
Deep Diving
Your 1st-line energy could lead you to deep-dive into your topics, which is great for thorough understanding, but in video content, sometimes less is more. Be mindful of not overwhelming your audience with too much information at once.
Perfectionism
Given your tendency to thoroughly investigate, you might lean towards perfectionism, which can be a double-edged sword. While it can lead to high-quality content, it might also cause delays or stress if you get stuck in a cycle of constant revisions and refinements.
Isolation
Being a 1st-line profile, you might tend towards isolation while digging deep into your subjects. Don't forget the value of collaboration and feedback in the creative process.
Embrace your unique energy as a 5/1 and navigate these challenges with self-awareness. Minimize the challenges by holding closely to your Type and Strategy.
With this simple plan in place, video content creation can be an incredible journey of expression and connection for you.
Channels - Your Life Force at Work
When you understand channels, you understand how your life force works in the world. Your channels contain the flow of life within you that establishes a connection between two centers.
This gives you access to a certain kind of energy that is uniquely yours and always available to you. It defines your gifts and establishes patterns of how you will operate in the world for the rest of your life. It is called a life force because it also carries the potential for growth and evolution.
Your life force is distinguishable from all others in the world. It represents your reason for having been brought here at this time. It is meant to be expressed fully and without reservation, and without the distortion that comes to us through conditioning.
Channels are formed when two defined energy centers are connected at two numbered Gates, either by a red line (unconscious), black line (conscious) or both (conscious and unconscious tendencies).
The following channels are yours to leverage and learn from over time.
The Channel of Openness: 22 - 12
The Design of a Social Being
Individual Channel - Empowerment, Mutation

The Channel of Openness (22 - 12) in Human Design connects the Throat Center to the Solar Plexus, forming a bridge between communication and emotional energy.
Here are the two gates that form this Channel.
Gate 22, The Gate of Grace (also known as Openness or Listening): Located in the Solar Plexus Center, this gate is about emotional expression and social interaction. It carries an energy of grace and openness that can captivate others and draw them in. It's about the sharing of individual experiences in a way that's emotionally impactful and conveys a deep level of personal truth.
Gate 12, The Gate of Caution (also known as Standstill or Stagnation): This gate resides in the Throat Center and is about expression and communication, often with an emotional component.
When connected, Gates 22 and 12 form the Channel of Openness, a design of an "emotional manifestor" whose mood governs their capacity to express and engage.
This channel is characterized by a talent for bringing personal experiences into shared reality. It carries a capacity for emotional clarity, and the ability to voice and share deep feelings, often with a creative flair.
However, it is dependent on the ebb and flow of the emotional wave. The emotional content of the communication will reflect the moodiness, melancholy, passion or drama of the wave itself. The key for those with this channel is to wait until they feel like interacting socially. The restraining quality of the 12th gate makes communication more effective with those who seem to have the most readiness for transformation.
With regard to how this channel impacts your videos, consider the following:
Vocal Dynamics
Your Channel of Openness encourages you to infuse your videos with emotional expression and creative communication. Use your natural talent for vocalizing emotions in so many subtle and varied ways to create content that not only conveys information but also stirs feelings within your viewers. This could be achieved through storytelling, sharing personal experiences, or discussing emotionally charged topics.
Validity of Gut Response
Given your intuitive nature, trust your instincts when deciding on video content, style, or delivery. You might have an intuitive grasp of what will engage your audience or convey your message more powerfully. Trusting this intuition can lead to more authentic and engaging videos.
On Aesthetics
The creative flair associated with this channel can be used to enhance your videos' aesthetic and narrative elements. Consider exploring unique video formats, incorporating artistic visuals, or using creative storytelling techniques. This could result in visually engaging and emotionally rich content that stands out.
The Importance of Discernment
As much as you share, it's also vital to maintain some boundaries to ensure your content remains accessible and comfortable for your audience. Balance your openness with consideration for your viewers' experiences. Consider sending your more intense videos to those less likely to provide a lot of pushback.
By combining emotional expression, intuition, and creativity with the right timing, you can create videos that deeply resonate with your viewers and leave a lasting emotional impact.
The Channel of Power: 34 - 57
The Design of an Archetype
Integration Channel - Self- Empowerment

Channel 34-57, also known as the "Channel of Power," is a powerful and impactful energy configuration that connects the Spleen Center (Gate 34) to the Sacral Center (Gate 57). This channel is also referred to as the "Channel of Preservation." The thing to understand about this channel is that is it only for you. Others may crave this energy they see coursing through you, but it is simply not available to them. This is the energy that keeps you alive, healthy, thriving and growing. Not to listen to it would have pretty awful consequences.
Gate 34 - The Gate of Power
Located in the Sacral Center, the seat of life force and vitality in Human Design. This gate provides the source of energy that empowers you toward individuation. When connected to Gate 57 in your Spleen, it endows your intuition with the power to hear what you need to survive and thrive in each moment.
Gate 57 - The Gate of Intuitive Insight
This gate resides in the Spleen Center, the Center of Intuition. Individuals with Gate 57 activated possess a deep intuitive ability to penetrate the NOW. They can quickly assess situations and make decisions based on a strong inner knowing, without the need for logical reasoning.
Channel of Power Activation
When both Gate 34 and Gate 57 are defined (colored in) in a person's chart, it creates the Channel of Power. Those with this channel activated have a potent ability to take care of themselves in each and every moment they live on the earth. They make decisions, not even from their gut, but from insight itself, the most mysterious and unknowable part of ourselves; the part of our consciousness that evolved thousands and thousands of years ago.
Preservation and Impact
People with the Channel of Power are generally skilled at preserving their life force and energy, which contributes to their ability to make strategic decisions and endure through challenging circumstances. They can tap into their intuition to navigate life's complexities and often find themselves in leadership roles or positions of influence.
Pressure and Tension
As with any defined channel in Human Design, there can also be challenges. The pressure to make impactful decisions and maintain a sense of authority can sometimes lead to burnout or stress for those with the Channel of Power. Learning to manage this energy and recognizing the limits of their power is essential for maintaining overall well-being.
With regard to how this channel impacts your videos, consider the following:
Understanding the Channel of Power (34-57) can provide valuable insights for someone engaged in video marketing, especially when appearing in their marketing videos. By leveraging their strengths and addressing potential challenges, they can create more impactful and authentic content that resonates with their audience. Here are some tips for utilizing this channel effectively:
Harnessing Intuition
With Gate 57, you have a powerful intuition that can guide you in understanding your needs and preferences. This intuitive sense can be applied to creating content that addresses the pain points, desires, and interests of your target audience...if they match yours. Otherwise this is not an especially ripe way to make videos. It's too personal and can't really be shared.
Building Authority
People with the Channel of Power often carry an aura of authority and influence. In video, this can work to your advantage but it's essential to be genuine in your approach using this channel, as viewers will naturally want this unusual energy you have but will not be able to get this survival insight process from you.
Creating Impactful Messages
The combination of Gates 34 and 57 provide the potential to create powerful and impactful messages if you can be conscious of their influence on you. You can use your intuitive insights (Gate 57) to craft compelling stories and narratives that resonate deeply with the audience. Your ability to sense potential risks or challenges (Gate 34) can also help you address objections or concerns that viewers might have.
Balancing Energy and Endurance
We all have our energy levels, and it's essential to take care of ourselves along the way. Pace yourself, recharge when needed, and enjoy the journey without the pressure. The pressure is all due to your non-self behaviors. Be aware of them, let them go, and take breaks as required.
Incorporating Visuals and Body Language
Since this channel connects the Sacral Center (Gate 34) and the Spleen Center (Gate 57), which are both connected to the body's instinctual responses, using body language and nonverbal cues in your videos probably comes naturally to you, so definitely use them to enhance your communication. This can help convey authenticity and sincerity, making your audience feel more connected.
Strategic Decision Making
The intuition and strategic awareness provided by this channel can extend to video marketing strategies as well. You can use your instinctual understanding of yourself to experiment with different content types, analyze performance metrics, and adapt your approach accordingly.
Those blessed with the Channel of Power can excel in video by tapping into their intuition. However, they should also be mindful of self-care and energy management to avoid burnout. Authenticity, strategic decision-making, and collaboration are key factors that can significantly enhance their video efforts.
The Channel of Recognition: 41 - 30
The Design of Focused Energy (Feelings)
Collective Channel - Experiential Sharing

The Channel of Recognition (41 - 30) is formed by the energies of Gate 41 (The Gate of Contraction) and Gate 30 (The Gate of Desire).
Gate 41, found within the Root Center, is a place of potential energy, an instigator of new experiences as it fuels the imagination with visions and dreams.
Gate 30 in the Solar Plexus Center passionately desires to bring these fantasies to life, to experience and feel the dream in the tangible world. As these gates unite, they form the Channel of Recognition - a channel driven by the energy to manifest dreams and desires into reality.
With this channel in your design, personally, you may find yourself often caught in a cycle of dreaming and desiring. Your Solar Plexus is a powerful energy center that takes a simple dream and proceeds to boil it passionately. It borders on the sexual in intensity.
On the other hand, living out your Strategy, coupled with your imaginative nature and the strong desire to feel and live your dreams can lead to powerful and purposeful manifestations. Of course it can also lead to frustration and burn-out when you hold too closely to any expectation this channel may dream up.
Interpersonally, you could potentially inspire and influence those around you to pursue their own dreams and aspirations. Your passionate pursuit of turning visions into reality can act as a catalyst for others to also dare to dream and take action.
With regard to how this channel impacts your videos, consider the following:
A Tribal Perspective

How to Use Your Design to Learn Video:
A Manifesting Generator with Emotional Authority
Focus on what's useful. Let go of needless stress. Rely more on insight and intuition.

The dynamic energy of a Manifesting Generator combined with the nuanced depth of Emotional Authority – now, that's an intriguing mix! Video creation, with its blend of technical and creative elements, seems tailor-made for such a unique blend of skills and energy. But as with any journey, there are tips and strategies that can help pave your way to learning more effectively and efficiently.
So, let's take a look.
Listen to your emotional wave
Your decision-making process is linked to your emotional wave, and this applies to your learning journey as well. It's not only about immediate gut responses, but also about the emotional clarity that emerges over time. Don't rush your decisions, whether it's about choosing a mentor or an editing course. Give it time, feel it out, and let your emotional wave guide you.
Channel your multitasking energy mindfully
As a Manifesting Generator, you have a knack for juggling various tasks. However, Emotional Authority asks you to be mindful of your emotional energy. Instead of jumping from one task to another, try focusing on one aspect of video creation at a time. This strategy will not only benefit your learning process but also help maintain your emotional equilibrium.
Find a supportive mentor who respects your pace
The right mentor for you will be someone who understands your emotional wave and can provide support when you're navigating your highs and lows. They can help you harness your emotional energy and use it to fuel your creativity, rather than letting it become an obstacle. Your learning speed is unique—you might leap ahead in one area while taking more time to digest others. The right teacher will understand and respect this. They should offer flexibility, allowing you to follow your internal rhythm.
Embrace the emotional aspects of video creation
Video is an emotional medium, and as someone with Emotional Authority, you're uniquely equipped to tap into this. As you learn, pay attention to the emotional aspects of video production – storytelling, tone, pacing. These are areas where you can truly shine.
Use Your Emotional Authority in practicing on-camera skills
As with all aspects of your learning journey, allow your Emotional Authority to guide you as you practice on-camera presence. If you feel uncomfortable or unprepared, give it some time. Your emotional wave will bring clarity, and with practice and patience, you'll find your on-screen persona.
Patience with the editing process
Editing is a technical task that requires patience and meticulousness – attributes that can sometimes be challenging during emotional lows. Recognize this and give yourself permission to step away from editing tasks when needed. Come back to them when your wave has leveled out. Too high on your wave is also not necessarily a good thing, because the crash can be demotivating. It's usually better to be on a more even keel when practicing editing techniques.
Honor your Sacral response in editing
When learning editing, you'll likely have to try different software and techniques. Here, allow your sacral response to guide you, but also pay attention to your emotional clarity. If something doesn't feel right, give it time—you might find that with a fresh emotional perspective, it starts to make more sense.
Collaborate with technical experts
Don't hesitate to seek help from experts, especially in highly technical areas. This not only ensures quality production but should certain technical tasks be delegated to experts, you can focus on the areas where you can have the most emotional impact.
The emotional journey of learning
Remember, your learning journey is just that – a journey, full of emotional ups and downs. Don't let the downs discourage you or let the ups rush you. Enjoy the process, celebrate your progress, and stay true to your emotional wave. This means always waiting to achieve some kind of even keel; not too high or low...just enough energy to feel calm and settled with the decisions you've made. The decisions you make now will have tremendous implications for the videos you make later.
Engage multiple interests
As a Manifesting Generator, you're known for your multi-passionate nature. Embrace it! Look for comprehensive courses that cover everything from pre-production planning, to shooting, to post-production editing. The more variety, the better for your dynamic energy.
Embrace the "Non-linear" learning
As a Manifesting Generator, the 'non-linear' way is your natural way of learning. This means you may want to explore multiple areas simultaneously, going back and forth between them. You might even find that while learning editing, something else, like sound design, sparks your interest. Embrace these urges, they are leading you to a holistic understanding of the video-making process.
Trust the emotional timing
Your Emotional Authority gives you a unique sense of timing. When you feel the urge to create, edit or learn, trust it and go with the flow. Conversely, if you're not feeling it, don't force it. Your productivity and creativity will bloom when you're in emotional alignment.
Collaborate with others
The energetic nature of a Manifesting Generator thrives when interacting with others. Consider finding a learning partner or joining a learning group. This gives you a chance to bounce ideas around, learn from others' experiences, and it might even help clarify your own understanding.
Nurture patience
Remember that learning is a process, and your Emotional Authority requires you to be patient with that process. Whether it's mastering the technical aspects of video editing, getting comfortable in front of the camera, or learning to trust your creative instincts, give yourself the grace of time.
Make it fun
Inject your learning process with elements of joy and fun. Watch a movie and try to break down its editing rhythm, enroll in an improv class to get better on camera, play around with different camera angles and lighting setups. If it's fun, it doesn't feel like work.
Practice active rest
In between your bouts of creative learning, don't forget to take breaks and let the new skills integrate. This rest is not passive; consider it as an active part of your learning process.
Embrace the process
Remember, as a Manifesting Generator, your path isn't a straight line—it's more of a scenic route! Embrace the twists and turns, the trials and errors, the learning and unlearning. It's all part of your unique process, and it's exactly what will make you stand out.

NOTE FROM STEVE HEADER
A Note From Steve...
You're now armed with more information about yourself than most mortals ever learn in a lifetime. Put this into practice and your life, certainly your videos and all your marketing for that matter, will never be the same. There will just be something...different about you that people won't be able to put their finger on, but they will want it.
Unlike the hordes of frightened marketers out there, you'll be living out a design for life that doesn't require you to pretend to be someone you're really not to get something you don't really want to impress someone you don't really like.
What's more, this will all be taking place in real time on video. It's kind of magical how quickly it can happen when your energy lines up with what the universe wants for you.
Having said that, this report is just the tip of a very, very large iceberg. I've taken a very long time to condense it into a useable format (after all, I am a 5/1 Manifesting Generator with Emotional Authority), so there's plenty here for you to chew on, but for those who want a plan to put all this into practice now, the question may be "what should I do next?"
I would look for the shortest distance between here (non-mastery) and there (full mastery). And that means sifting through and double-distilling these many tips, hints, suggestions and cautions into a clear and focused plan that fits your Type and Authority.
If that sounds appealing, investigate your options at the link below, and we'll get underway.
