Yes, I am officially on hiatus, but whereas sometimes there’s a video I want to make, well, sometimes there’s a video that wants me to make it. And who am I to say no?
This one is mostly about where all of your clients want you to be…as soon as you can. And how to get there as quickly as possible.
By the way, this is not a video tip, but it is where all the video tips come from.
And speaking of video tips, you may be wondering what happened to the Eaver Skype recording video. Well, turns out that while Eaver does allow you to make two separate video tracks in 1080p, there is no way to separate the audio tracks. And that makes it useless for the kind of interviews we recommend doing. After all, the separate audio tracks WERE the big time saver. So there you have it. Best to always use our time wisely, eh?
OK, on to much bigger and better things. By the way, if you really like this video, consider sharing. There are others who will want to know what you know now. 🙂

So well said: thank you. I’ve just added the link to my list of favourite watch-again videos (which includes Ferris Bueller’s Twist ‘n’ Shout scene, and Brian Wilson singing Love & Mercy).
Honored to be in such august company. Thanks, Stephen! 🙂
Wow, powerful words, Steven. This is truly the message we all need to hear, but it’s not the message we usually hear from people selling books and courses and coaching, because they are in business to help us identify and cultivate our own authority. I believe in books and courses and coaching, of course, but found myself looking “out there” instead of inside myself, as you’re describing. Thanks so much for this wonderful, deep message today!
Mia, I agree that sometimes we can use outside help in seeing through the forest to the trees, but too often we then discount our own access to what the universe itself wants to show us. Peace. 🙂
Thank you for these words of wisdom, and for the reminder I needed to hear this morning.
Thanks, Glenda. Hope your puppets get the message from you now. 🙂
Steven, thanks for your great storytelling and message. I too enjoy lots of Guy Finley lessons. I am now producing lots of video, finally, and getting lots of feedback, but that resonance of feeling that you are in your own authority, from within, is very empowering. For me, it is a process of discovery and I am allowing the vulnerability as I go outside my comfort zone 🙂 and put a muzzle on the little unwelcome voices. I so enjoy your perspective!
Thank you, Gord. I watched your video on Inspiration. Great perspective and nicely done. 🙂
IMO your best vid Steven. Loved the message.
FWIW I watch your vids, and I’m fornicatingly ruthless with email subscriptions, unsubscribing at the first opportunity.
I thank you, and my email thanks you, Dave.
Regardless of what happens, observe, say how interesting, and then take things from there. Very Buddhist-like. Thank you for the reminder, Steven.
That may be a little more Sufi than I intended, but close enough!
Very nice…and Guy Finley is the MAN. Don’t let those roque dark forces take over your brain. Kick ’em out and tell ’em to shut up already. It’s just the ego getting upset and the ego is a pretty small egotistical entity anyway. Thanks for the reminder!
Glad it was helpful. And yes, Guy IS the man. 🙂
Steve I have just came to the realization that you were a great instructor but also a great motivational speaker, good for you.
Very kind; thank you, Harrison.
Thanks Steve,
That was the exact reminder I needed.I am awesome at what I do and that is all I need to remember!
I had someone ask if I made the doubt be gone stuff I talked about in a post. Time to start mixing potions : )
Cool! It will be interesting to see what you cook up next! 🙂
Dear Steven,
Great video! You are the master of video!
Blessings,
Margherita
So now it’s your turn. Go for it!
Amazing video. Hard to tell where you were going with it but you ended in a perfect spot. Thanks for your wisdom.
This video was fantastic!
